The flannel material is so soft and luxuriously thick that batting isn't necessary. Simply sew the squares together using short, straight seams. Follow the included design or create your own as you lay out the kit's 246 pieces of precut solid and pretty print squares in cheery colors, working your way up to a quilt. Fringing the seams adds extra warmth and snuggle appeal (instructions included).
